Frequently asked questions

How many images can I merge?

There is no fixed limit in the tool, but combining many large photos at once uses a lot of memory. On phones, work in groups of four to six. The preview and layout recalculate automatically each time you add, remove, or reorder an image.

What is the difference between the layouts?

Horizontal places images left to right, which suits before-and-after shots and wide banners. Vertical stacks them top to bottom for timelines and scroll-style graphics. Grid arranges them into the number of columns you choose, which works well for photo sheets.

How are the images sized inside the collage?

Each tile is filled using a centered "cover" crop, so every cell is completely filled with no empty gaps. Set spacing to zero for a seamless join, or increase it to add a visible frame between tiles.

Can I rearrange the images after adding them?

Yes. Each image in the list has move up and move down buttons as well as a remove button. The preview updates as soon as the order changes, so you can experiment quickly.

Does merging keep transparency?

PNG and WebP can store a transparent background, which is useful when you round the corners. JPG cannot store transparency, so choosing JPG turns a transparent background white.

What output size will I get?

The downloaded collage is rendered at full resolution: each tile uses a longest target side of 1200px, so the final dimensions depend on the layout and the number of images. The on-screen preview is scaled down for speed, but the exported file is larger and sharper.

Are my images uploaded?

No. All images are loaded and drawn into a single canvas in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server.
