Image tools built around your privacy

ImgSprint is a small, independent project with a simple goal: make everyday image tasks — compressing, resizing, cropping, converting, and more — fast and private for everyone. You should not have to hand your personal photos to an unknown server just to shrink a file or convert a format.

Why we built it

Most online image tools work the same way: you upload a file, a server processes it, and you download the result. That model is convenient for the operator and risky for the user. Photos can contain GPS coordinates, timestamps, and other metadata. They can be private, sensitive, or simply nobody else's business.

Modern browsers already contain a powerful image engine. We use it. ImgSprint performs its work with the Canvas API on your device, so your images never travel across the internet. There is no upload step, no temporary storage, and no queue. When you close the tab, the working copies in memory are gone.

Each tool is designed to be understandable at a glance, keyboard accessible, and honest about what it does. Where a format is not supported by your browser, we say so rather than failing silently.

Our content and editorial standards

We believe useful software deserves useful documentation. Every tool page includes a plain-language explanation, step-by-step instructions, and answers to the questions people actually ask. Our guides explain image formats and trade-offs without hype. We write this content ourselves, keep it accurate, and update it as formats and browsers change.

We do not publish thin pages, scraped text, or content designed only to attract search engines. If we cannot make a page genuinely helpful, we do not publish it.

How we keep the lights on

ImgSprint is free to use. Where advertising appears, it is limited and clearly labelled, and it never sits on top of the tools or invites accidental clicks. The site remains fully usable with ads blocked. We do not sell your data, because we do not collect your images in the first place.
